Relational Insight offers individual, couples, and family therapy for clients struggling with a variety of issues and those looking for personal growth and insight.

We are offering video and phone sessions which are covered the same by your insurance as in-person visits. We will walk you through setting up for teletherapy and answer any questions you may have.

is therapy for me?

Therapy can help you address barriers to long term happiness such as Anxiety, Loneliness, Conflict in Relationships, Irritability or Anger, Sadness and Grief, Work or Family Stress, Trouble Sleeping, Increased Alcohol Use, Intimacy Issues, Panic Attacks, Difficulty Focusing, Job Dissatisfaction, Self Doubt, Disordered Eating, Feelings of Shame or Guilt, and Low Self Esteem.

Therapy also offers an opportunity to confront and rework our feelings or beliefs about experiences such as Trauma, Illness, Discrimination, and Loss.

Our skilled therapists provide support to adolescents and adults interested in finding creative solutions to new or ongoing emotional challenges.

Build Skills

Identifying and practicing strategies may help you lessen anxiety, manage stress, and increase fulfillment. We can help you build upon your strengths and expand skills in assertiveness, communication, coping, stress management, and others. Many of us are facing challenges requiring novel skills such as managing boundaries between work and home, medical problems, dealing with losses, increased family conflict, and division in our social networks. Therapy can help you pivot and gain the perspective and confidence you need to respond in our changing world.

expand insight

Many answers to the deepest questions lie within you. As you build a relationship with your therapist, we will help you unlock answers about your innermost thoughts, feelings, and values. Insight-based therapy can also aid you in identifying harmful relationships and marginalizing environments which may be undermining your success or happiness. Discrimination or re-traumatization may leave you feeling activated, stuck, or out of control. Building insight about your family, communities, and workplaces bolsters your ability to contextualize your experiences with self compassion and understanding. Insight better allows your authentic self and true values to guide and empower future decisions and connections.

To fully relate to another, one must first relate to oneself.
