Kathryn Crone, Psy.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Crone founded Relational Insight in 2017 to empower clients to increase life fulfillment through growth, acceptance, and healthy relationships. After a decade of working within schools, group homes, residential facilities, community mental health, and family therapy settings, she brings a breadth of experience to clients facing an array of challenges. Dr. Crone utilizes therapeutic techniques tailored to fit your needs, drawing from Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Multicultural/Feminist therapy. She is committed to helping adolescents and adults reduce feelings of anxiety, depression, low self esteem, isolation, and confusion. Dr. Crone collaborates with clients to obtain a holistic picture including culture, family history and dynamics, inner and relational conflicts, and treatment goals. She helps clients explore traumas, microaggressions, and family or societal messages which may impede an individual’s ability to overcome feelings of guilt or shame, trust oneself and others, make successful life transitions, or simply relax and live authentically. Dr. Crone offers expertise in working with individuals within the LGBTQ+ community and has provided training to other clinicians for improved care of transgender and non-binary clients. Her research has included an integration of a cultural lens to better understand relational development, and she continues to utilize ongoing education to improve effectiveness with clients of diverse backgrounds. Dr. Crone provides training regarding diversity, clinical skills, and therapeutic interventions and remains committed to improving the quality and access of mental healthcare for all. Tasha Mitchell, M.Ed., M.Div. Counselor

Tasha joined Relational Insight in 2022, and she provides individual, couples, and family therapy for adults and adolescents. Her approach is client-centered, and she utilizes techniques from Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral frameworks to tailor therapy plans for the individual needs of each client. Tasha offers expertise helping clients who are experiencing life transitions, fears, or losses create deeper meaning within their lives. Her unique training and education positions Tasha to support individuals as they grapple with life’s big questions or are feeling conflicted. She is particularly adept at working with clients from historically marginalized backgrounds (e.g. LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC persons) and compassionately assists clients heal from cultural or religious traumas. By integrating insight-building, Tasha helps clients develop a clearer understanding of the influences of nature and nurture on how individuals develop symptoms such as anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, anger, and feelings of hopelessness. She supports clients as they develop new ways of thinking, feeling, or behaving to strive for a stronger sense of self and healthier relationships. Tasha connects with clients who feel stuck, confused, or misunderstood as they wrestle with tensions both internal and interpersonal. Hannah Hadley, M.A. Counselor

Hannah joined Relational Insight in 2023. She utilizes Psychodynamic and Family Systems approaches to treat individuals and couples, recognizing the interconnected web of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Hannah helps clients explore the roots of their beliefs, values, and self-narratives which shape their realities and experiences in their day-to-day lives.

As a former teacher, Hannah excels at effectively helping children and adolescents facing emotional or behavioral concerns and supportively collaborating with parents. She connects well with individuals who identify as neurodivergent, and she has experience with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, adoption, addiction, and trauma. Hannah’s breadth of experiences provides her with flexible frameworks to meet people exactly where they are with deep empathy and encouragement. She is also drawn to working with individuals of all ages within the LGBTQ+ community with particular insight and experience with adolescents experiencing gender and sexuality based bullying or social anxiety. Hannah helps her clients create space for clarity, self-acceptance, empathy, confidence, and love.

Derrick Smith, M.S.I.O., Counselor

Derrick Smith joined Relational Insight in 2023. Derrick applies collaboration within therapy to help clients tell their story and practice new perspectives or behaviors. He is trained in mediation and connects well with clients who may be new to focusing on relationships or mental health. Derrick aims to help clients find validation, healing, and growth within life struggles and transitions. He has a passion for reaching underserved clients, especially men of color and other members of marginalized groups. Derrick connects easily with struggling adolescent and adults and provides a warm welcome with tangible support.

Derrick helps couples and families navigate challenges in communication, conflict, and reconciliation. He provides empathic support for those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, interpersonal conflict, and professional challenges. After transitioning to counseling from a vast professional experience where he spent years as sales director and consultant, Derrick completed a Masters program in Industrial Organizational Psychology which provided him with rich insight for clients facing professional challenges and dilemmas.

Greta Long, M.A. Counselor

Greta joined Relational Insight in 2024. She utilizes a person-centered approach to therapy, which looks at clients through a lens of their whole personhood. Greta collaborates with clients and work within goals set together in session. She provides a non-anxious and nonjudgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to bridge gaps in their relationships with themselves and others.

Greta supports clients through life transitions such as changes in relationships, academics, workforce, or other life circumstances. She treats individuals encountering mood disturbances, anxiety, problems with stress management, and other symptoms impacting your daily health and happiness. She holds a special interest in helping clients navigate trauma, loss, family discord, and other spiritual experiences. Greta also provides support for parents hoping to better understand and connect with their children and adolescents. She aims to help you understand yourself better to enhance feelings of self worth and functional relationships with others.
